New Haven Construction Corp. built this project, an eight-unit townhouse development, on land acquired from the City of New Haven. The units were newly constructed townhouses with three bedrooms and parking in the rear with zero lot lines. The completed units were sold to eligible buyers under the Dept of Housing and Urban Development Section 235 program for $49,000. The project also included the rehab of two existing dilapidated buildings on Sherman Avenue which were sold to eligible buyers. The cost of this project was $385,800 and financing was provided by the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority.
