New Haven Construction Corp. acquired the land for this project from the New Haven Redevelopment Agency at a nominal price. Four new townhouse units were constructed on the site under the Dept of Housing and Urban Development Section 235 program. The cost of the four new units was $180,000 for a two-story unit with three bedrooms and zero lot lines. Parking was provided in the rear and the unit contained three bedrooms. A private lender financed the project and the units were sold for a sales price of $45,000.
